How you holding up over there?

I have to admit that sometimes it feels a bit awkward for me to dive into news about art, events, and calendar stuff without acknowledging the weight of the world.

I know I don't need to go into the latest atrocities, but creating a moment to just say "Hey, I'm here and I'm feeling it too" seems much more real than skipping over it.

So, if you're like me and your tender heart is bruised and battered by another week of humans choosing violence over compassion, love and justice, I'm holding out my hands to you now.

Because we can hold hope and grief in the same moment.

We can celebrate wins, uplift the goodness of life, while also making space for frustration, confusion, and loss.

This being human thing is a gift and a dance, it's a shit show and a masterpiece...

We can make space for all of it especially when we acknowledge the complexities of life on Earth. Especially when we don't try to sweep it all under the rug. Especially when we connect instead of isolate.

All this to say.... HI, I am here. I feel it. It's a lot. And I love you. We are in this together. Keep breathing, ok?
