Do you ever get the feeling that you lost a part of yourself somewhere? That the weight of the world has worn you down?

Same here.

I certainly have days where I wonder what happened to that sweet-hearted, younger ME who could access hope and optimism so easily...

When I embarked on making the 2025 I Stand For Love calendar earlier this year, I was certainly feeling those things.

I knew this was a year to really devote myself to bringing a strong beam of Love forward. But I wondered if that purity and sureness I once felt was still as strong as it was way back when.

What I needed to do was go back and look to the past before I could move into the future. I needed to gather that pure essence that I had waaaaay back in 2003, when I made the very first calendar.

I needed to pull the threads from years gone by and weave that energy into the latest and greatest version of art and love I could muster.

As a person that's typically hyper-focused on the future and what kind of world I want to help create, this was something new for me. And it helped a lot.

I unearthed the original art from so many years of calendar making. I poured over them, still vibrant and radiating rainbow colors and nuggets of wisdom.

It felt like tending to the roots of myself. It felt like a deep remembering and a revisiting parts of ME. The essence, the evolution, the original creative spark that started this wild ride... I could feel it in those pages.

I share this today because maybe you're feeling that sense of loss of innocence or pure intention. Your hopes and dreams seeming cloudy or far away...

It might be time to go back and touch that part of yourself. Revisit an old journal or baby pictures or some creative project you once poured your energy into. Remember the essence of your spirit, your true nature, before all the noise of the world wore you down.

They're still in there.

I offer these questions to ponder:

Is there a part of the past that, when retrieved from the archives, could serve as renaissance and rebirth of our most true selves?

How can we bring the sweetest, strongest, most powerfully pure parts of ourselves forward?

What have we turned away from that is needing to be re-membered at this time?

Let's reunite with our precious past so that we're fully embodied for the next steps!
